Algiz Rune Wrist Warmers

These were made by hand, stitch by slow stitch, in the nålbinding tradition... the oldest way of knitting wool that we know of, and still one of the best. Garnet red Merino wool, deep as a winter berry, trimmed at the edges in hand-spun brown Corriedale wool yarn that has its own particular warmth about it. The Algiz rune sits at the wrist of each, put there with care, because some things are worth protecting. Wear them to the market, wear them by the fire, wear them when the morning is cold and you are not yet ready to let go of the night. The rune knows its work.
