WHAT IS A GOD MASK?
God masks are representations of divine beings. The concept of divine beings in the Nordic story world is a very broad term. Sadly, we can only speculate on the concepts included within it.
God masks could be representing a vast variety of things such as spirits, giants, or Nordic versions of demons or gods. None of the stones where these designs exist allude to their truth or the secrets behind them. God masks are shrouded in mystery, and thus are down to individual interpretation.
