From fire and shadow, from iron and oak, this relic was wrought… a conjuration of the blacksmith's hand and mine. His forge, a churning maw of flame, bent the iron to its purpose, while my own hand, guided by whispers of the old world, seared the Urnes knots into the waiting wood. Twined in its form are the echoes of a time beyond reckoning, a vessel for the wandering flame, a sentinel to watch where darkness stirs.
