These coifs are cut and sewn true to the early medieval fashion,  both machine sewn & stitched by hand, for the look that speaks of quality to those who know it. Lined for warmth and comfort, soft against the skin, with long ties to secure beneath the chin as befits a person of discernment. Suitable for the reenactor who will accept nothing less than honest period accuracy, and equally suited to the modern folk witch who understands that what sits upon the head is part of the craft.
