Viking Age Rus Hat

A Rus Viking hat, hand sewn in lightweight black merino wool and trimmed in Tuscan lamb fur, period accurate to the Viking Age and made to be worn with the seriousness that deserves. The wool is dark as a winter sky before snow, and the fur is the colour of old gold and shadow. Every stitch placed by hand, inside and out, the way it was done when the world was colder and the people in it knew how to dress for it. This is not a costume. This is what they wore when they rode out into the frost, when they sat in the hall and let the fire do its work, when they meant to be taken seriously by gods and men alike. Coif not included.
